# Can I bring a support person to my interview? And can I use notes in my interview?

Yes, you can bring notes with you to the interview but please only use your notes as a point of reference or a checklist to ensure you cover everything important. To maintain a genuine, conversational flow, we encourage you to avoid reading long passages verbatim. Yes, you can bring a support person to your interview if necessary. The role of a support person is to provide moral/emotional support and help clarify the process if required. A support person must not answer on behalf of the applicant or disrupt the flow of the interview to ensure the interview remains a valid, fair assessment of the applicant’s individual merit.
