# Can I bring my family (spouse or children) with me?

If you have dependants, you and your family will need to decide whether they will accompany you to New Zealand. Before you decide whether to bring your dependants with you to New Zealand, you need to think carefully about whether you will have adequate funds available to support them, the costs of living in New Zealand may be much higher than you are used to in your home country. The scholarship allowance will not be sufficient to support you as well as your family.
