How long do I have to submit my English Language Test results and how do I upload?
If you have passed one of the four approved English competency tests (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE Academic or Cambridge Academic English (advanced)) to the required level during the last 12 months, then your university or education institution may accept these test scores. If you are a shortlisted applicant and do not have IELTS, TOEFL, PTE Academic or Cambridge Academic English (advanced) test scores from the last 12 months, we will tell you when you need to sit one of these English competency tests. Uploading your English Language Test results as part of your Initial Application Submission When you first complete the online Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship application form, you will typically be asked to upload supporting documents. Upload a Copy: If you already have results (such as IELTS, TOEFL, PTE Academic, or Cambridge Academic English) from the last 12 months, you should upload certified copies of these results as part of your initial application in the online system. Look for the section in the online application system that requests supporting documents or academic records. Your English test results should be uploaded there. Uploading your English Language Test results when selected as a Shortlisted Candidates For many Manaaki Scholarship applicants, proving English competency is a later step in the selection process, especially if you didn't have current results at the time of initial application. You will be contacted if you are shortlisted as a preferred candidate. The Manaaki New Zealand Scholarships team will advise you when you need to sit an English competency test (if you don't already have one that meets the requirements). Test Organisation: Depending on your country, the Manaaki team may organise and pay for your IELTS test, or you may be required to organise and pay for it yourself (with potential reimbursement later if you are selected). Your preferred institution of study will likely request verified copies of all official documents, which must include your English language test results, to issue you an unconditional offer of place.
