# what do i need to do if i need to leave singapore for business travel?

## If you’re required to travel for work, please contact your Randstad Consultant or the Randstad Contracts Admin Team upon knowledge and before you leave Singapore.

Before travelling anywhere for personal or business, we strongly encourage you to check the foreign and local government websites to understand the border control measures, as well as isolation and healthcare requirements.[Learn more here.](https://www.ica.gov.sg/covid-19/shn)

All travellers should also eRegister with the[Ministry of Foreign Affairs](https://eregister.mfa.gov.sg/)at the earliest opportunity to enable MFA to contact you while you’re overseas.

We advise against travelling for leisure until further notice. If you choose to travel against local government advisories (applies to both personal and work), the corporate insurer will not cover COVID-19 expenses incurred in other countries and Singapore upon your return. 

All travellers entering or re-entering Singapore are required to serve a 14-day Stay-Home Notice either at home or in designated facilities by local authorities. Flouting Stay-Home Notice orders is a criminal offence in Singapore.
