My transcripts are not in English; do I need to pay for a certified translation now or later?
The Manaaki Scholarships Programme requires you to upload translations of your academic records (transcripts and grading scales) into English as part of the initial application. It doesn't need to be verified by a Justice of the Peace or Notary Public. However, the most reliable and safe approach is to have a professional or reputable translation. When you upload your documents, you should upload both the original document in its native language and the English translation. If you are selected as a preferred candidate (shortlisted), it is required to provide an official certified English translation of your transcripts, completion certificates and grading scales.
