You should not apply for a passport until you receive a Scholarship Letter of Offer. You need a current passport to enter New Zealand. You also need to ensure that your passport is valid for at least six (6) months longer than the expected completion date of your scholarship. If you don’t have a current passport, you are responsible for applying for one and for paying all of the necessary costs.
