# What are the minimum academic grades required?

The scholarship requires applicants to have "high grades" 27 and to meet the specific academic entry requirements for their chosen course and institution.15 Each New Zealand university or institute of technology sets its own minimum grade requirements (e.g., for a Master's programme, this may be a Bachelor's degree with a B+ average or equivalent). Applicants must research and confirm the requirements on the website of their preferred institution.
