When does graduation typically take place? Can I stay to attend my graduation?

A Manaaki completion ceremony is arranged by the institutions to mark the completion of their scholars study and scholarship. Scholars are generally not able to attend the University graduation ceremony, unless it takes place within the 14-day period after the study programme concludes. Scholars may apply for a short-term visitor visa to return to New Zealand for graduation, but they must cover the cost of this travel themselves.
